With it on, new builds and Copilot changes go through an agent that reads and searches the project's files and edits them a few lines at a time, then loads every page and checks it for errors before it finishes, instead of rewriting whole pages. • Onboarding: after your first Workbench is created, and only if you're not signed in, Caspian asks how you want to proceed. Full Venture Studio creates an account (or signs in to one); Just Scaffolding shows how to point your own AI tools at these docs and your Workbench folder.

• Caspian Pro is the AI: every AI build and change now runs on Caspian Pro (OpenRouter's models, run through Caspian), with no API keys. The AI Models tab, bring-your-own keys and Sign in with OpenRouter are gone; the build and change confirm cards suggest a model and let you pick another. On the Free plan, use your own AI tools on your Workbench with these docs.
• Steps planned per task: a build or change is split into its real parts, named in the progress checklist, and runs in one step when it fits the model, and in more only when it doesn't.
• Token Usage moved next to Account and needs sign-in: usage per model, plus your Caspian Pro plan's usage this month across every device.
• Onboarding: the free path no longer asks for API keys; it offers Git backups only.
• Keep working while a project builds: switch to other projects during a first build; the explorer entry brings you back to it. If the build fails, the entry shows it, and opens it to retry or delete.
• Copilot: replies show as chat bubbles, and a proposed change's confirm card starts on the model Copilot suggested.
• Updates: if Windows (Smart App Control or antivirus) silently blocks an update's installer, Caspian now says so and links to the latest installer to run by hand.
• Projects live in your Workbench: the projects Caspian builds, clones or installs are now kept in the Workbench's own .caspian/canvas-types folder instead of a per-computer app folder, so a Workbench folder is self-contained. Opening a Workbench moves its projects over, and older backups still restore.

• User registration: a new checkbox in Create a new project, on by default, and a Project Settings tab to change it. With it on, a project can have accounts: sign up, sign in, and pages only signed-in people can open. Copilot can turn it on for a change that needs accounts, once you say OK. See User registration.
• Database tab: under User Context, lists a project's accounts and spaces, shows who is signed in, and can remove an account or delete a space.
• Analytics: every published project counts page views by default (no cookies, no IP addresses kept), and the new Analytics tab shows visitors, views, live visitors, pages, sources, campaigns and devices per project. See Analytics.

• Pages: a project can have more than one page. Canvas authors list them in canvas.json's new pages field and move between them with page.open.
• For canvas authors: the users capability, auth.* bridge methods and auth.changed event, requiresAuth / signIn pages, and the optional database.json.
• Spaces: one published project can serve many groups. Visitors create a space (a club, a road association) and run it, with admin-only, public, members-only and per-person data, and co-admins added by email.
• Private data on published sites: "publishedSidecar": "split" publishes only what a canvas marks public, for members, or for one person, and live-site accounts confirm their email with a code before seeing their own records.

• AI providers: OpenRouter joins Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and OpenAI as a first-class provider for "Design my canvas". Each has a curated frontier-model list; keys and environment variables are managed in Settings → AI.
• Publish controls: the publish dialog gained a "Features visitors can use" checklist, driven by a new optional features field in canvas.json, for switching individual canvas controls off on the public copy. A "Publish pinned notes" toggle strips notes, pins, and regions from a published canvas when unchecked. The built-in canvases (3D model, image, map, webpage, maritime, stocks) now declare their own toggleable view controls.
• Create a new canvas: dedicated "From a Prompt" and "From an API" tiles; the model is shown as a card, and "Design my canvas" moved to a Create button in the footer. "Change in Settings → AI" opens Settings without closing the create modal.
• Workspace: the collapse-canvas-panel button is now a collapse-notes-panel toggle.
